Wauwatosa Historical Society Announces 3rd Annual Brews & Blooms

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wauwatosa, WI, June 18, 2026 — The Wauwatosa Historical Society invites the community to gather for the third annual Brews & Blooms, a free, family-friendly summer beer garden series designed to bring neighbors together in one of the city’s most treasured historic settings. The series kicks off Friday, June 26, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on the grounds of the Kneeland-Walker House.

Presented with support from Thoughtful Craftsman, Brews & Blooms transforms this landmark property and its Victorian gardens into a vibrant gathering space featuring two live musical acts each night, rotating food trucks, craft beverages, and yard games—all in service of building community.

The setting itself is central to the experience. The Kneeland-Walker House, one of Wauwatosa’s most recognizable historic homes, offers a direct connection to the city’s 19th-century roots, while the surrounding Victorian gardens provide a rare and immersive backdrop that blends history, nature, and community life. Rather than a typical beer garden, Brews & Blooms invites guests to gather in a place that reflects the character and heritage of Wauwatosa—making each evening feel both meaningful and distinctly local.

“This event is truly about building community,” said Amanda Saso, Executive Director of the Wauwatosa Historical Society. “There’s something special about coming together in a space like the Kneeland-Walker House—where history and everyday life intersect. Brews & Blooms creates an opportunity to connect with neighbors, celebrate summer, and experience this beautiful setting in a way that feels welcoming and alive.”

Brews and Blooms is one weekend each summer, 4:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m. with musical acts at 5pm and 7:30pm. Full details including musical acts, Kneeland-Walker House tours, trivia, and food truck schedule can be found on the website: Brews & Blooms – Wauwatosa Historical Society.

  • June 26 & 27
  • July 17, 18 & 19
  • August 21, 22 & 23

Brews & Blooms is free to attend, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to try the food trucks and are welcome to bring in snacks or food. Proceeds support the Wauwatosa Historical Society’s mission to preserve local history and activate historic spaces in ways that serve today’s community.
