19th Century Schoolhouse Experience

The 19th Century Schoolhouse program offers an immersive experience where children can step back in time to learn reading, geography, civics, and arithmetic. Through the use of desks with ink wells, slate chalkboards, and McGuffey Readers, students gain firsthand experience of the tools and materials used during that era, providing a tangible connection to the past while expanding their understanding of historical education methods.

We accept bookings from school districts outside of Wauwatosa and from nonprofit or private organizations. The cost is $5 per student. Minimum 15 students.
