Wauwatosa Cemetery Tour

You’re invited to join us for an informative journey through Wauwatosa’s history at the beautiful Wauwatosa Cemetery! Take a stroll with us to discover the final resting places of the founders and pioneers who built our community.
You’ll get to see the family graves of notable locals, including the Clapp, Fisher, Hart, Harwood, Hoyt, Underwood, Warren, and Wheeler families, among many others.
The tour will be led by a long-time Wauwatosa resident, Historical Society member, and cemetery trustee. The tour will last about an hour, so come curious and ready to learn!
A few important things to keep in mind:
- We’ll be walking through the cemetery, which can be hilly and uneven, so please wear comfortable, sturdy footwear.
- There are no public restrooms or water available on-site, so plan accordingly.
- Tours take place rain or shine, so come prepared.
Meet us at the Cemetery Chapel 10-15 minutes prior to the start time.
