Brews & Blooms Summer Beer Garden Series
June 27 @ 4:00 pm – 9:30 pm
We’re back for another year of our beloved beer garden tradition with Brews & Blooms!
What began years ago as a one-day Oktoberfest celebration, Prosit!, quickly became one of the Wauwatosa Historical Society’s most beloved community traditions. As we looked for new ways to build on that spirit of gathering, we reimagined the event as Brews & Blooms — a summertime beer garden series designed to bring neighbors together while introducing new audiences to the beauty, history, and mission of the Wauwatosa Historical Society.
Now in its third year, Brews & Blooms transforms the grounds of the historic Kneeland-Walker House into a welcoming community gathering space where history and hospitality meet. Our goal is simple: create a place where people can slow down, connect with one another, and experience one of Wauwatosa’s most beautiful historic properties in a new way.
Come grab a craft beer, enjoy live music, and play lawn games while catching up with friends and neighbors. Treat yourself to delicious offerings from local food trucks, or pack a picnic to enjoy in the Victorian Gardens (please, no carry-in alcohol).
Seating is limited, so feel free to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets and settle in for the evening. We’ll have giant Jenga, bags, and other lawn games available for a little friendly competition.
More than just a beer garden, Brews & Blooms is an opportunity to experience local history in a relaxed and meaningful way. By activating historic spaces through community events like Brews & Blooms, we’re ensuring that history isn’t simply preserved—it’s experienced, shared, and enjoyed together.
And the best part? Every purchase directly supports the Wauwatosa Historical Society’s mission to preserve, share, and celebrate our community’s stories for future generations.
We hope you’ll join us for an evening of good food, great music, and even better company as we celebrate summer in the gardens.
