175th Anniversary of the Milwaukee Road
November 20, 2025 @ 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Join us at the Little Red Store for a casual open-house celebration marking the 175th anniversary of the first Milwaukee Road train arriving in Wauwatosa on November 20, 1850.
Explore historic photos from the Wauwatosa Historical Society archives, including multiple eras of our train depot, and view decorated model boxcars on display. A live rail camera feed—installed by Steel Highway earlier this year—will stream real-time trains as they pass through, complete with audio from conductor communications.
This event coincides with the Tosa Village “Sip & Stroll”, where local businesses are open later than normal and provide sips for people to enjoy while browsing shops.
Enjoy complimentary sips at the Little Red Store as you browse the displays and chat with local rail and history enthusiasts, Mark Westerfield and Greg Comly!
Free and open to the public. Stop in anytime!
