The
Kneeland-Walker
House, recognized as one of the premiere historic
properties in Research Library Compromised After discovering dampness and water stains in the ceiling areas of our Research Library, we decided to protect all of our research and archival materials by moving them to different areas of the House, temporarily closing the Research Library to the public. Contractor
Selected Work is currently underway by our contractor, FJA Christiansen Roofing Co., and will be completed by the start of the Firefly Art Fair in August. FJA Christiansen will provide the Kneeland-Walker House and Coach House with a historically accurate, well-executed new cedar roof that will last for many years to come. Project Costs The total cost of this project is $145,000. We
currently have $82,000
allocated for the work and need to raise the remaining $63,000.
