Wauwatosa Plein Air Affair

Outdoor Painting Competition & Sale

July 9th to 18th, 2009

EN PLAIN AIR is a French expression which means "in open air," and is particularly used to describe the act of painting outdoors. The Wauwatosa Plein Air Affair is an invitation to all artists to spend time painting outdoors throughout the city of Wauwatosa. This event will include a week long painting opportunity July 9th to 16th, as well as a 4-hour Quick Paint on Saturday, July 18th. The event will feature an auction/sale July 17th & 18th.

Wauwatosa offers a diverse palette of painting possibilities with its distinct and varied neighborhoods, beautiful homes and scenic gardens, historic and commercial districts, as well as natural parks, woods and river views. We hope you can join us!
