Donating items for use by the WHS is different than donating materials to the WHS Research Library & Collections.

Please contact the WHS office before donating items for our use. We always appreciate an email with a brief description and photo of the items.

Items for Use
Items donated for use may be handled on a daily basis and disposed if necessary.

Donations we may accept for use include:

  • Office supplies (file cabinet, computer equipment, etc)
  • Furniture or decor (table clothes, lamps, card tables, dishes, etc)
  • Items to be sold for fund-raising purposes
  • Maintenence materials (ladder, vacuum cleaner, etc)
  • Items for specific events (e.g., holiday lights for the Christmas House)
  • Exhibit "filler" (hats, display stands, books, etc)

WHS Wish List

  • Large Edwardian/Victorian style (preferred) table to seat 12 minimum
  • Gas Powered Leaf Blower
  • Mini tiller for garden beds
  • New Vacuum
  • Quark XPress software for a PC
